SharkBite Max push-to-connect repair hose is the fastest way to make a quick repair on PEX, copper, CPVC, PE-RT or HDPE. The flexible stainless steel braided hose reduces the need for extra joints or fittings, perfect solution for hard-to-reach tight areas. A newly designed stainless steel collet retainer deliver additional strength and durability and provides a 200 psi pressure rating. SharkBite Max fittings do not require a PEX tube liner and a re-engineered body allows you to insert the pipe using less force and greater ease. No soldering, clamps, unions, glue or special tools required. After inserting the pipe, stainless steel teeth bite down and grip the pipe tightly while a specially formulated O-ring compresses around the pipe to create a watertight seal. The fitting can be rotated after installation for quick adjustments and removing the fitting is just as fast with a disconnect tool, allowing fittings to be changed or reused.
