Model 6423 replacement filter is used on the Hydration By Haws models (2000S, 2000SN, 2000SMS and 2000SMSN) and is tested and certified by CSA against NSF/ANSI Standard 42 for the reduction of chlorine (taste and odor) and against NSF/ANSI Standard 53 for the reduction of lead and 99.99% of cysts. It is a carbon block filter cartridge with a service life of 1 year/2,500 gallons (9463 L). Filter contains an onboard chip to store total gallon usage; this chip interfaces with an Electronic Lifecycle Control system to allow water flow only until the filter reaches its total gallon capacity.
