HoldRite® HydroFlame™ mold-able putty pads are a non-curing single component fire-rated material for membrane-penetration firestop systems. HydroFlame® putty will intumesce and expand when exposed to heat, forming an insulating char. In the event of a fire, putty pads will prevent the spread of flames, smoke and gas through penetration openings. Putty pads are applied by hand and mixing is never required. HydroFlame putty pads are rated for up to 3 hours as tested in accordance to ASTM E814, UL 1479 and CAN/ULC 4-S115-M test standards. HydroFlame putty pads are designed to be used in conjunction with metallic or non-metallic electrical box outlets.
