The Water Heater Tempering Valve solves the dillema between maintaining high enough temperatures to prevent bacteria growth and low enough temperatures to prevent scalding. The by-pass valve provides a source for ultra-high temperature water straight from the tank. It is intended for appliances where these temperatures are required and the risk of scalding is nullified, such as dishwashers and washing machines.
