The SharkBite pressure regulator is a half-cartridge based pressure reducing and regulating valve with a lead-free bronze body. The valve resembles traditional regulators with a spring chamber and an adjusting screw but offers the high performance of a cartridge based valve. The valve is compatible with copper, PEX, CPVC or PE-RT pipes. Just insert the pipe and the fittings stainless steel teeth bite down and grip tight, while a specially formulated O-ring compresses to create a perfect seal. Disassembly is just as fast using the simple disconnect tool so fittings and valves can be easily removed and reused.
