A New Year Brings About New Resolutions

That statement has never rung as true as it has this fall for Pacific Plumbing  Supply's newest location... Branch 5040 in Missoula, MT!

More importantly, for the  Missoula Valley's plumbing and heating contractors, it means new solutions to some of  the area’s biggest frustrations: Lackluster customer service and poor inventory  management from current local wholesalers. Branch Manager, Kris Rausch, comes to  Pacific with 22 years of plumbing and hydronic heating sales experience and an old school mentality. "I think that's why this opportunity to lead a new branch location for  Pacific was so appealing to me!" Kris said recently. "One of the greatest mentors of my  career, long-time MDM branch manager Harry Newman, put it simply... ‘Take care of  your customers and they'll take care of you!’ and that statement aligns perfectly with  Pacific's culture." noted Rausch.  

Joining Kris as Assistant Manager is Allie Moore, a seasoned veteran of the  Missoula wholesale scene and Harry Newman's very own daughter no less. "I've  worked with Allie for many years... back even before MDM became DSG and I have  seen first-hand her ability to get things done for those who matter most... our valued  contractors. She has a strong understanding of the operations side of wholesale  distribution and is a real asset to this company and its customers here in Missoula."  according to Kris.  

"And when we picked up Steve Carty to head up the warehouse and counter  sales and Nikaila Thrasher to layout and operate our showroom to help drive trim  orders out the door. The competition was put on notice that Pacific Plumbing Supply  isn't just coming to town. We're here to take market share day one and have no  intentions of eeking out a living on our competitor's scraps!" states Rausch. "All three of  these people were on my short list from the beginning, all three were on management's  radar from day one and all three were mentioned by almost every contractor I spoke  with since as being someone we should hire! Beyond that I've had the benefit of  working with all three of them previously at DSG so I have a very real understanding of  just what this team is capable of!"  

With the purchase nearly complete on our 19,000 square foot facility, Pacific is  ready to start the interior build-out phase on Branch 5040 soon. We'll be adding a  counter sales area, offices and erecting a 6,000 square foot mezzanine over the top,  slated to be finished in time for the holidays. Due to seasonal constraints here in MT...  final construction on the pipe yard and front parking lot will happen in early spring with a  formal grand opening scheduled for mid-2026 giving the Missoula team some time to  dial it all in.
